OUR PARTNERSHIP

Excellent animal health depends on a PARTNERSHIP between YOU, the client, and US, the veterinarians and staff of Arlington Animal Hospital. Together we can give your pets many years of healthy life.

  • Disease Prevention – Annual physical examinations. Computerized laboratory equipment. Microscopic cancer detection. Vaccinations. X-rays. Heartworm, fecal, urine and virus testing. Superior products for heartworm prevention, fleas, ticks and other parasites.
  • Treatment of Disease – We use laboratory tests to make an accurate diagnosis. Results of blood count, chemistry profile, urine analysis, biopsy and x-rays are obtained within a few hours. Appropriate medication, treatment or procedures are then recommended.
  • Surgery – Ovariohysterectomy (spay) and castration (neuter) are recommended. Surgery is performed in an operating room with sterile equipment, sterile technique, the safest anesthesia and modern monitoring devices.
  • Dentistry – Most dental problems are preventable through home care, regular checkups, professional cleaning and the correcting of abnormal tooth conditions. This will help your pet chew his food properly, prevent dental infections, have a sweet breath, and it keeps the teeth healthy into the geriatric years.
  • Boarding – We have safe, clean, comfortable, climate-controlled lodging. All animals have playtime in a grassy courtyard twice each day. Every pet receives loving care by our trained staff. (Vaccinations by a veterinarian are required.)
  • Pharmacy – Our hospital has an on-site pharmacy, which makes filling your pet’s prescriptions quick, economical and convenient for you. See our Order page for VetCentric home delivery (Specialty medicines will be called to the neighborhood pharmacy of your choice).
  • Prescription Diets – Different diseases, medical conditions and life stages have unique nutritional requirements. Our hospital stocks over 30 canine and feline prescription diet foods, which are an important part of your pet’s health and recovery.
  • Pet Insurance – Our hospital provides Preventive and/or Medical Plans, which are designed to meet the total health needs of your pet.
  • Pickup and Delivery Service for Senior Citizens.
  • Referral to Veterinary Specialist – Referrals for advanced diagnostics, treatment or complex surgeries are an important extension of our practice. By referring you to a Specialist, we are showing our concern to find answers or treatment for your pet’s advanced health problems. We strive to communicate honestly and maintain a strong relationship between you (the pet owner), us (the primary veterinarian) and the Veterinary Specialist we have chosen for your pet’s particular needs.
  • Pet Cemetery – When your pet dies, the body is handled with care and dignity. Our hospital is serviced by Smoke Rise Pet Cemetery, which provides options for private or communal burial or cremation.
